Time to Focus
Hebrews 10:35-36 (NIV)
“35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

The year of 2008 was a year that I will always remember. Everything I went through brought my faith to a level that I never thought existed. I am at a point now where I can truly say, that I know my God got EVERYTHING under complete control. No longer will the 1% of “what if” hang around and entertain my thoughts. I now cast down the “what if” because of all that God has brought me through. All he has shown me. And the silly part, in my life, God has never ever let me down. But yet I still had the “what if hanging around. The fact is God created me. He already ordered my every step. So He promises victory in every situation as long as you stay with Him. And that is fact. Never once has He let me down. Time after time I might let my own self down when I distract myself with the “what if.” But no longer will I go down that road. That road leads to stress, anxiety and depression. It’s time to focus.
God has promises and blessings lined up for all of us and waiting for us to take hold of them. In Hebrews 10:36, the Word is saying for us to keep going (persevere) and never quit. I have been faced with distractions when focusing on the situation rather than focusing on what God needs for me to do. Doing the will of God is the key for having best life you could have. Just think about it, you stay in God’s will, all of his promises will flow.
It’s all about the focus people. No matter how hard it may get in life, focus on Him and not the situation. I know for myself that once I truly let go of the situation, everything falls right into place. I am now working back within His will doing what He wants for me to do. And people, it feels so good. Peace, yes its priceless.
Now lets all get to work in what He needs for us to do. No more procrastination and no more excuses. Lets do what He needs for us to without hesitation and as His Word says, “you will receive what he has promised.”
God Bless you all,
